Emily kicks off the day with a calf barn reset — cleaning pens and making sure all our cattle have fresh bedding. Then it’s off to the shop, where Greggie’s working on the “fun” jobs… fixing Avery’s corn head and his least favorite machine ever: the skid loader (which somehow involves fire 🔥).
Next day? Back to the field. Avery’s tackling some really bad soybeans, but the field isn’t the only challenge — his combine feeder house starts acting up again. Hop in the cab for a behind-the-scenes look at what goes through a combine operator’s mind during harvest.
To finish it all off, the baler boys are back at it — making big corn fodder bales to bed our cattle for winter.
