Today on Charlotte Ashley Farm we finally open the silage pit after sheeting it up last year… and it quickly becomes clear that things haven’t gone to plan.

The front layer of silage has spoiled and will have to be thrown away after not having enough weight on the pit when it was sheeted. While dealing with that headache, the cows decide to create even more problems by chewing through the feed belt electrics and blowing the fuses!

As if that wasn’t enough, Roy starts ripping out the old cubicle mattresses after deciding they’re beyond saving and need replacing.
