A busy day on the farm turned into one challenge after another!

Ali Wilson arrived with a container trailer pulled by an old automatic DAF, but a slightly damp field soon proved too much for it. After plenty of attempts to get moving, Roy came to the rescue with the Valtra and finally pulled it free.

We also loaded up and took sheep to the auction, but what should have been a quick 20-minute journey turned into a frustrating hour thanks to the huge influx of traffic heading into Appleby Horse Fair. There was carnage at the roadside with horseboxes, trailers and horses everywhere as people poured into town.
