The other day me and had the conversation on our debunking episode on the podcast about taking calves off their mothers. I was explaining that the internet is crazy and nine times out of ten this is uneventful and neither calf or cow are bothered.

Now it’s no good taking my word for it as a farmer but I can show you real time as a cow calved a few days later who illustrated my point perfectly.

After the episode aired I was directed to a post where a few imaginative individuals were explaining to the comments section with great authority how barbaric this is, I invite them to tell me what they would have done differently in this situation. As a farmer we don’t want to cause stress and as you can see in this video the cows attitude verges on ignorant.
