C. The more we think about things for the podcast the more interesting it becomes, for instance I put more time into thinking about Rebecca’s good education than she does, do I only think about it because I don’t have it? and actually does it even matter? After all we are in similar positions farm wise career wise. you could very much say we are chalk and cheese personality wise and not in a cliche way but we have both been lucky to have had good parents and been taught manners, mental resilience and have an understanding that hard work and respecting other people will help you in life… and now we seem to find ourselves in a place where two very different people can successfully tackle the same situations in life with regard to both farming and handling a platform online.

The other week an article in the times prompted a tweet launching an attack on not only Rebecca but a good friend of mine Andrew regarding education and the suitability of them having an opinion because of it, needless to say I jumped in and told him to f**k off then got told off by Roy and remembered what Rebecca would do? she would actually think about a response it would be measured, calm and factual or more likely no response at all which is what it deserved. I think you learn in life from those you surround yourself with and taking several sheets of paper from Rebecca’s pad is a good thingy.


I accidentally found the song behind this video and the lyrics felt quite coincidental. We have had some laughs recently about some of the words in the song and it’s become a bit of a standing joke, watching from the outside anyone that throws it around just show they feel inferior and do exactly what I was guilty of and place more emphasis on upbringing than it warrants and actually says more about them as people and their lack of it.

With this podcast i want to stay as authentic as possible, it started with voice notes and some fairly strong opinions on the world, farming, social media and those combined that you wouldn’t say out loud to anyone other than your friends, well THAT is what we will be getting into :) watch this space.
