What a dayyyyy, roasts, foraging for wild garlic, sweet talking seedlings to grow and a lot of rain. This year we are using Ewegrow compost in the veg patch, this is a friends side quest and where all our fleeces end up. I’ll keep you updated on its superior qualities over the growing season I’m sure. I have also gone for cheap and cheerful bubblewrap Swiss rolls to set the seeds off. All the beds are covered in our own multicoloured fleece to keep the weeds down and deter slugs as apparently they hate the feeling of wool 🤷‍♀️

Cutting the crap literally this year and our veg patch with various raised beds has been flattened and we are starting a fresh without all the weed attractions.
