Greasing, every farmer's favorite job. That is what this video starts off with. We are in the middle of corn harvest 2019 and we have several hundred acres of corn left to pick. While combining corn, my moisture sensor on my AgLeader InCommand 1200 display was not working correctly so Zach, fro Youngblut Ag, came out to help me diagnose the issue. We combined corn all day and then resumed the next day. Combining corn went smoothly for the rest of the night until it started to snow. We then got snowed out of the field and had to come back the next morning.
The next morning was cold and all the equipment sat outside overnight. Diesel engines and cold do not mix. After giving some tender loving care to the 2001 Case IH 2388 combine, we were able to get it started. That is when we ran into a loose bolt on the corn head. We tore into the issue and fixed it. We continued harvest for the rest of the day and highlight a few things that happened outside the realm of the combine cab.
