My friend Doug recently suffered a serious accident that left him with life-threatening injuries, so before we get into today's video, I want to share his GoFundMe and ask everyone to keep him and his family in their thoughts and prayers. After spending three days equipment shopping at the 2026 Farm Progress Show, I somehow came home without buying anything! But that doesn't mean new equipment isn't showing up on the farm. We take a look at our new Crary Trench Pro hydraulic trench closer and the massive AGI MK2 13-114 auger that will be filling our new grain bin.

Then it's finally time for the moment I've been working toward for months: electrical inspection day at the $7,000 mansion. I've been doing the electrical work myself, and after all that work... I FAILED. I go through what passed, what didn't, and get straight to work fixing the problems, including finishing the first electrical panel I've ever wired completely by myself.

And just when it seems like we've covered all of our new farm equipment, another tile plow shows up! SoilMax brought us a 3-point demo plow that we're putting to work as we prepare to install roughly 340,000 feet of drainage tile this fall. Harvest is getting closer, crops are starting to change, and things are about to get extremely busy on the farm.
