After months of electrical work, I finally passed my electrical inspection at my $7,000 mansion! That means there’s only one thing standing between me and drywall: finishing the interior insulation.
I thought installing the Rockwool would be a quick one-day project, but the staggered-stud walls had other plans. Nearly every piece had to be custom cut, and the ceilings were even worse. What should have been simple turned into several days of cutting, fitting, and a massive pile of insulation scraps.
Along the way, I take a break from the house to give my pickup truck a 2.5-year ownership review, finish insulating several more rooms and walls, and take delivery of 170 sheets of drywall along with everything we need for the next phase of the project.
By the end of the video, the job site is cleaned up, the electrical is prepared, the insulation is finished, and for the first time since starting this massive project, the house is 100% ready for drywall! The inside of the $7,000 mansion is about to start looking completely different.
