We had to stop soybean harvest to TEAR UP THE ROAD! What started as a major farm drainage problem turned into a massive excavation project, and once we started digging, we discovered more than we expected!

With a serious drainage issue at my Grandpa's farm, we bring in a massive excavator, shut down the gravel road, and dig a huge trench to install a new drainage pipe underneath it. But digging through the road is only half the battle! We uncover an existing drainage line, work around buried utilities, and face a big decision: is burying a massive plastic drainage pipe underneath a road traveled by heavy farm equipment really a good idea?

Meanwhile, the 2026 soybean harvest is underway, and things aren't exactly going smoothly! We're dealing with wet soybeans, a plugged grain pit that's slowing down unloading, and equipment troubles while trying to keep harvest moving forward. With so much happening at once, there's never a dull moment on the farm!

Between digging up the road, installing underground drainage tile, and fighting through harvest complications, we've got our hands full!
