This simple homestead duck pond worked wonders for me for years. If you are raising ducks, geese, or any water fowl on a small scale they need to be able to dunk their whole heads under water, and they are happier if they get to swim and splash.

Fresh clean water makes for fresh clean ducks. They're going to make a mess no matter what you do, so you might as well control what you can. At the end of the day, whether this works for you or not, the point is to try to make the ducks happy and healthy.
