Question Everything with Farming

10.00am - Tuesday 12th April 2016 2,955

One of the most valuable things you can have on farm is a mentor. Someone to take you under their wing, show you the ropes, and quite honestly, let you know when you're being silly. Troy Bishopp The Grass Whisperer has been that for me. A friend to lend an ear when I need it and an experienced farmer to let me know if I'm on the right path.

Finding your mentor is a journey just like anything else in farming. You don't always know it right off the bat, you may never officially settle on a title, but when you find the right person you'll know. That's following your gut.

The more good you do for the world the more good is going to come your way. I find it addicting doing good things for people. It's fun, it makes them happy. And at the end of the day I find that I have a lot of luck and good fortune.
