There’s something special about getting an old tractor like this out doing a proper day’s work again.

In this video, first things first we get the triple k harrow on the MF 6480 and harrow up some beet for the cattle. Then the fun begins and we hook up the plough and see how the 1200 handles it — proving that even after all these years, it’s still more than capable of earning its keep.

We take you along for the job, show how it performs in the field, and chat a bit about what it’s like running older machinery alongside the newer gear on the farm.

Sometimes the old ones really are built different… 👀
