Today we’re back in the field with the MF 7618 and the Samasz mulcher, and it’s finally time to clear away the last of the sunflowers and pumpkins from the patch. The weather has settled enough to get in and get it done, and the mulcher makes short work of what’s left after a busy season on the farm.

It’s always a bit sad to see the sunflower trail and pumpkin patch disappear, but it’s all part of getting the ground ready for next year.
