We’ve bought a new (to us) McConnel PA65P hedge cutter, so we head off to Johnstons to collect it and bring it home. Once it’s back on the farm, we give it a first test run to see how it performs.

This hedge cutter should make a big difference when it comes to hedge cutting, farm maintenance, and keeping field boundaries tidy going forward. There’s always a bit of excitement trying out a new machine for the first time, but first impressions are promising.
