Today we started properly stripping down the harvester… and it didn’t take long to realise just how many things need attention.

What should’ve been a simple job quickly turned into a battle - the header didn’t want to come off and we spent half the time arguing about physics, straps and pallets.

Eventually it hit the ground — but that only revealed more work.

Knives, shear bar, bearings, wiring, sensors… everywhere we looked, something needed fixed, freed, or replaced. It’s fair to say Project Harvester is going to keep us busy for a while.

This is Part 3 of Project Harvester — the teardown begins, and the list of jobs gets a lot longer.
