Part 2 of our trailer tidy up series picks up exactly where things went sideways.
What was supposed to be a quick job turns has led us into very questionable grinding decisions, heated debates, broken parts, and the harsh reality of equipment that hasn’t been touched in years. We fight rust, rebuild rams, argue about wiring, discover failed brake shoes way too late, and somehow still keep the progress moving forward.
This episode is less “how-to” and more “how it actually goes” when you start digging into old machinery:
* Seized brake levers that refuse to come off
* Heat, grinders, WD-40… and regret
* Brake shoes that should’ve been checked years ago
* Rams rebuilt with new seals
* Trailer wiring ripped out
* Honest workshop talk, bad jokes, and worse ideas
If you like it real with some rookies on the job, not polished restorations or perfect outcomes, this one’s for you.
