The majority of the maize grown in Germany is chopped. In this video, we’ll be taking a look at the development of the machines used for this task. We’ll show you the first single-row harvesters in use and then follow their transformation into the modern self-propelled forage harvesters that are widely used today. We’ll even show you some footage from our archives.
