Machern Landwirtschaft – or ‘Machern Agriculture’ in English – is an arable farm located to the east of Leipzig in Saxony, Germany, that works primarily with Valtra tractors. The farming business cultivates around 4000 hectares of land with its large fleet of Valtra tractors. For this short film, we visited the farm in September and watched the team carry out tillage, seed drilling and maize harvesting work with a range of agricultural machines. We're going to take a closer look at their field work and the tractors they use. The highlights include their high-horsepower Valtra S-series tractors.
