QUEENS FIT FOR A QUEEN!

This is one of our favourite times of the year. Cathal, John B and Paul head off to the spud field to bring home the very first load of Queens. After a slow start, the lads soon get down to business and the first load of potatoes for 2022 heads back to the yard.

Nanny Finnegan takes over from John Smith as Quality Control Manager and cooks up the first pot of spuds for 2022. A pinch of salt, a knob of butter and a glass of milk and what more do you need....the verdict is that they are absolutely delicious! The Queen Mother herself gives them the green light so if they are good enough for Nanny, then they are good enough for us! You just can't beat the new spud.....balls of flour!
