This video was recorded on Tuesday the 19th of July and it was the hottest day on record for the UK. The temperature peaked at around 40 degrees centigrade. No machines were working because of the high temperatures and risk of fire. It was possible it started by a discarded bottle or piece of glass. No one was injured. Due to the nature of the video the footage is more raw than it would normally be.
