We headed over to the Cows.ie farm, home to some of Ireland’s finest cattle and the place where Scally Silage handles all the silage work that keeps the herd in top shape.
While we were there, we caught up with David Clarke, the man behind Cows.ie, to get a real feel for what goes into running a busy Irish farm — from daily feeding and care to preparing livestock for export. It’s a brilliant look at the hard work, passion, and attention to detail that drives Irish farming at its best.
But this visit was something special… We got to follow David and the team as they prepared and shipped Ireland’s biggest-ever cattle export to Africa! From final checks on the animals to loading and logistics, it’s amazing to see just how much effort goes into moving top-quality Irish cattle across the world.
