Join us at Skimblescott Farm, nestled in the beautiful Corvedale valley of Shropshire, as we catch up with Rhys Jones during one of the busiest times of the year — harvest!
Discover why Rhys has chosen to run a mixed fleet of classic machinery and why he believes this approach could be the way forward for the future of the farm.
We also take a step back in time as a vintage CLAAS Senator combine joins the harvest fleet alongside the farm’s regular McCormick combine, proving that vintage machinery can still have a valuable role to play in farming.
But there’s more to running a family farm than getting the wheat in. We chat with Rhys about the challenges of managing the farm, making important business decisions, and balancing tradition with the demands of modern agriculture.
From vintage machinery in action to the realities of running a family farm, join us for a fascinating look at harvest at Skimblescott Farm — where the good old days meet the future of farming!

GRASSMEN are the fast-paced, global agriculture phenomenon whose video content and merchandise are recognised worldwide. The business was started in 2009 by current director Gareth Gault, known to fans as ‘Donkey’. His love and passion for machinery allowed him to experiment with cameras and upload content to YouTube. To his surprise, a large following soon developed and the niche in the market for real-life, documentary, farming and machinery action made it possible to drive the brand forward.
We at GRASSMEN, pride ourselves on providing an exclusive look into agricultural manufacturers, meeting real, working farmers, showing and demonstrating tractors and machinery through all seasons such as silage and slurry and ultimately educating and entertaining our fans.
If you love all things agriculture from top manufacturers such as John Deere, Fendt, Massey Ferguson, JCB, Land Rover and many many more, come and join #teamgrassmen, we would love to have you!
