Seed Drilling Oats - John Deere 4640 & 750 Seed Drill

4.00pm - Saturday 6th June 2015 150,017

Seed drills are more appropriate for planting crops such as oats or soybeans, however most farmers use planters to plant soybeans due to the increased accuracy of planters. Seed drills are more of a 'controlled spill'. Their spacing is usually more appropriate for soybeans, but some planters have interplanters between to rows to give 15" spacing.
