Harvest doesn’t start when the combine rolls; it begins with morning prep.
In this video, I’m sharing what a real harvest morning looks like on our Montana family farm. From greasing the John Deere combines to fixing a few small breakdowns, this is the work that has to happen before we ever head to the field.
I walk through our morning routine, what we’re checking before starting the day, and how we handle the little issues that always seem to pop up at harvest. Once everything’s ready, we get going and start cutting.
Thank you for watching!!

My Story:
Hello, I’m Kate Stephens, a 21-year-old 4th generation farmer from Montana. My family's roots in farming run deep, stretching back to 1912 when my great-grandfather emigrated from Denmark and began cultivating the land we still work today. Farming has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember; I started learning the ropes at just two years old and now operate one of our combines during harvest. I believe in the importance of understanding where our food comes from, and I hope to share that knowledge in a fun and engaging way through my YouTube videos and products. Kate’s Ag is more than just a brand—it's an extension of our farm, a celebration of the grains we've been growing to feed families for over a century. I hope you find as much joy in my products as I do because they carry the legacy of our land and the hard work of generations.
