Harvesting the Big Hill!! Wheat Harvest Montana 2021
In today's video, we are harvesting wheat on a really steep hill on part of our Montana farm. We are running three combines today so it is fun to have them in the field with me! I hear a weird noise in my combine and my dad discovers it is a plate misaligned underneath. He fixes it thank goodness! I also get stuck between gears in the combine today. Dad stops before runs over a metal fence post he notices in the field. This hill is pretty steep for us. There are some pretty steep angles on this hill and we have to empty our grain tanks to go up or down. Dad gets dirt in his header from running the header so low to try to pick up the non-existent wheat. You will get a view of our neighbor's custom cutters. They are running Case IH combines and they have a cool grain cart with tracks. It is a beautiful sunset. I hope you enjoy my video. Thank you for watching.

My Story…
Hello. My name is Kate Stephens, and I am a 17-year-old 4th generation Montana farmer. My family has been farming wheat in north-central Montana since my great grandfather immigrated from Denmark in 1912 and homesteaded our land. My family has been teaching me about farming since I was two years old. I run one of the combines on the farm at harvest. I believe that it is important for everyone to know where their food comes from and the families who produce it. I love our farm, and I hope that my Farm to Fashion and Farm to Table products can help educate people about where their food comes from in a fun way. That is how Kate's Ag - Farm to Fashion became a reality. I hope you love my products as much as I do because this is an extension of our farm and the grains we have been growing to feed other families for over one hundred years.
