A Blast From The PAST! - Part One | Kate's Ag

In today's video, my Dad and I visit antique farm equipment. We show you antique combines, drills, and grain augers. It is really windy, so I appreciate your patience with the wind noise. Some of the old equipment is John Deere and one is an old Oliver. You will see that most of the workings of the combine are the same today as they were then. There is a pull-behind combine and a self-propelled one too. You will notice that there are no cabs or air conditioning on these old ones. The other interesting thing is that the combine auger is stationary so they had to be careful not to run into anything. These combines ran for years and years. There is some snow and ice that caused a hazard for my dad! LOL. At the end of the video Grandpa and I taste some delicious wheat biscuits that a very nice subscriber mailed to my P.O. Box. I'd like to thank all my subscribers for their wonderful support and a big thank you to everyone who sent me letters and packages to my P.O. Box and supported me through PayPal. I can't thank you enough!!!!!!! I hope you enjoy my video.

My Story…
Hello. My name is Kate Stephens, and I am a 16-year-old 4th generation farmer. My family has been farming wheat in north-central Montana since my great grandfather immigrated from Denmark in 1912 and homesteaded our land. My family has been teaching me about farming since I was two years old. I run one of the combines on the farm at harvest. I believe that it is important for everyone to know where their food comes from and the families who produce it. I love our farm, and I hope that my Farm to Fashion and Farm to Table products can help educate people about where their food comes from in a fun way. That is how Kate's Ag became a reality. I hope you love my products as much as I do because this is an extension of our farm and the grains we have been growing to feed other families for over one hundred years.
