Today's video is very exciting because we had a new old 530 hp tractor delivered to our Montana farm. This only happens every 10 years or so! We are going to use this John Deere 9630 tractor mostly for seeding. The tires are gigantic and you will see the guys take them off the semi-trailer they were delivered on. They have a bit of trouble moving them around because they are so big. I will take you on a tour of the tractor cab and a tour of the outside of it too. You will see it being driven off the trailer and my Dad and I take it for a ride. We park it by the shop and you can see that our big reservoir is pretty full too. Dad fills it up with fuel because it came with almost no diesel. I am really excited and I think my Dad is too. I hope you enjoy my video, and thank you for watching! My Story…
Hello. My name is Kate Stephens, and I am a 16-year-old 4th generation farmer. My family has been farming wheat in north-central Montana since my great grandfather immigrated from Denmark in 1912 and homesteaded our land. My family has been teaching me about farming since I was two years old. I run one of the combines on the farm at harvest. I believe that it is important for everyone to know where their food comes from and the families who produce it. I love our farm, and I hope that my Farm to Fashion and Farm to Table products can help educate people about where their food comes from in a fun way. That is how Kate's Ag became a reality. I hope you love my products as much as I do because this is an extension of our farm and the grains we have been growing to feed other families for over one hundred years.
