The Big Skip! I'm Out of Seed! Montana Farming 2021.
In today's video, I am finishing up one of our original Montana homestead fields and moving the big John Deere tractor and seeding drills to the 3-bin field. I think I ran out of seed and I let my Dad know. Darcy moves in to seed the last part of the field for me because my drill is not as long as his and I have a skip. Darcy also helps to guide me out of the field so we can move down the road. I wave at Darcy in his John Deere tractor and drill. We start the field in a coulee which is a challenge. Uncle Chris seeded the coulee first so we are sure not to miss seeding any ground. I say hello to the neighbor's dogs that have come over to visit. I see a hawk pick up something and then another hawk tries to take it away mid-air! That was pretty interesting. I show the monitors and what they tell me. Overall it was a great day! I hope you like my video! Thank you for watching!

My Story…
Hello. My name is Kate Stephens, and I am a 17-year-old 4th generation Montana farmer. My family has been farming wheat in north-central Montana since my great grandfather immigrated from Denmark in 1912 and homesteaded our land. My family has been teaching me about farming since I was two years old. I run one of the combines on the farm at harvest. I believe that it is important for everyone to know where their food comes from and the families who produce it. I love our farm, and I hope that my Farm to Fashion and Farm to Table products can help educate people about where their food comes from in a fun way. That is how Kate's Ag - Farm to Fashion became a reality. I hope you love my products as much as I do because this is an extension of our farm and the grains we have been growing to feed other families for over one hundred years.
