1st Time Driving New Combine!!! Montana Wheat Harvest 2021

In today's video, I learn to drive my Dad's new combine with the duals on our Montana farm. It is exactly the same as the one I am running except the dual tires make it a bit bumpier. Our wheat has really suffered from the drought and our yields are extremely low. We have had a lot of good years of wheat harvest and we expect years like this because that is what farming is all about. You take the good with the bad. We are running two combines today because we are waiting for a part to be air-freighted in for the other combine. The wheat is a bit challenging to pick up, as it seems to be really close to the ground. My Dad says we almost need tweezers to pick it up! LOL I dump my grain tank on the go with this new combine which has a very extra long auger. Our grain cart breaks down. Dad loses his drone somewhere in the field and that is a really big problem!!! My Story…
Hello. My name is Kate Stephens, and I am a 17-year-old 4th generation Montana farmer. My family has been farming wheat in north-central Montana since my great grandfather immigrated from Denmark in 1912 and homesteaded our land. My family has been teaching me about farming since I was two years old. I run one of the combines on the farm at harvest. I believe that it is important for everyone to know where their food comes from and the families who produce it. I love our farm, and I hope that my Farm to Fashion and Farm to Table products can help educate people about where their food comes from in a fun way. That is how Kate's Ag - Farm to Fashion became a reality. I hope you love my products as much as I do because this is an extension of our farm and the grains we have been growing to feed other families for over one hundred years.
