Ancient Treasure? + My Big Mistake!!!!! Barley Seeding - Montana

In today's video, I noticed something weird in the ground while seeding barley. I jumped out of the tractor, after pulling the seeding drill out of the ground. I discovered an old plow of some kind. So, I picked it up and brought it with me. Dad was very happy to hear that I didn't throw it back in the field!!! The ancient treasure is an ancient plow! hahahaha This discovery made my day seeding interesting for sure. Then I made a big mistake by forgetting to turn on the seeder so the drills were actually seeding. I didn't waste any seed but I am very disappointed that I had to turn back and make sure the seed was coming out. I learned a lot from my mistake and I will try not to do that again!!! We are still praying for rain because we are in a drought again this year! Thank you for watching my video!!!

My Story…
Hello. My name is Kate Stephens, and I am a 17-year-old 4th generation Montana farmer. My family has been farming wheat in north-central Montana since my great grandfather immigrated from Denmark in 1912 and homesteaded our land. My family has been teaching me about farming since I was two years old. I run one of the combines on the farm at harvest. I believe that it is important for everyone to know where their food comes from and the families who produce it. I love our farm, and I hope that my Farm to Fashion and Farm to Table products can help educate people about where their food comes from in a fun way. That is how Kate's Ag - Farm to Fashion became a reality.
