In today’s harvest video, things got a little interesting. One of our employees had the step break off their combine, and my dad and our grain cart driver jumped in to fix it… with duct tape. I came out to check it out, and it was honestly pretty funny. My dad also rigged up a fix to keep the massive door on my combine from flying open, classic harvest problem-solving. There is never a dull moment out here!

My Story:

Hello, I’m Kate Stephens, a 20-year-old 4th generation farmer from Montana. My family's roots in farming run deep, stretching back to 1912 when my great-grandfather emigrated from Denmark and began cultivating the land we still work today. Farming has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember; I started learning the ropes at just two years old and now operate one of our combines during harvest. I believe in the importance of understanding where our food comes from, and I hope to share that knowledge in a fun and engaging way through my YouTube videos and products. Kate’s Ag is more than just a brand—it's an extension of our farm, a celebration of the grains we've been growing to feed families for over a century.
