These are the satisfying parts of the job !
We were asked to drain a wood that had flooded over the years and turned into a pond - trouble was the land rose up away from the flooded area. We took levels and managed to dig a ditch and lower some crossing points that allowed the water to get out and away from the wood and then down a main run.
It's now dry and replanted.
