** So we are disking for many reasons..

1: Due to the drought this year most if not all the sloughs are dry and we are trying to work them back into production.

2: As you know Ashtyn and I have taken on land that the previous farmers weren't very aggressive with their sloughs, so we are doing some clean up.

3: We also work the first back the trees and grass, if you don't work them back, they ll work you. 😆

4: Even if the sloughs fill back up with water, they won't fill nearly as full due to they won't trap so much snow.
