Our beans were ready almost a week ago. Then it rained for a week straight. So for once, we're starting harvest on corn. Getting the combine switched over turned up something we didn't expect: that belt noise from the last video wasn't just a belt. We also talk diesel prices and how they hit our farm, and get the grain dryer ready, which went about how you'd expect after 10 months of birds.
The hardest part of every 15 minute job is the first couple of hours.
