Minnesota leads the nation in grain bin entrapments. Five volunteer fire departments came out to the farm to train for it, and we loaded a semi hopper with corn so they'd have something real to work with.
Nate from Gibbon Fire Department brought out the R3 Rescue trailer — 360 cubic feet of storage and a self-powered vac that'll move up to a thousand bushel an hour on good grain. Less than that on the grain you're actually dealing with in an entrapment, which is part of the point.
