Everyone loves the idea of organic fertilizer…
but not many people want to see where it actually comes from.
Today we’re cleaning out the chicken coop, hauling bedding, and turning what most people would call a mess into something incredibly valuable on the farm. Around here, nothing goes to waste — even if it’s not the most glamorous job.
At the same time, it’s one of those classic farm days:
Dead batteries and wiring fixes that turn into bigger projects
Parts runs to town that take way longer than expected
Equipment prep as we get closer to spring
