Today was one of those winter farm days.

Emily spends the entire day in the calf barn taking care of calves in zero-degree weather, making sure everyone stays warm, fed, and healthy. Meanwhile, Avery is finishing up the final few acres of corn — but cold temps don’t make it easy.

After the last acres are cut, the combine freezes solid and has to be thawed out in the wash bay. Thankfully, we had our SunFire SF160 heater fired up to get everything thawed and back in shape.
