It took 68 long days from the very first day we started shelling corn (way back in September!!) to the final rows.. but we're done now! There were a few break downs, rain days and other delays, but we got it done. And overall, it was a pretty successful harvest! Yields were good, no major breakdowns and it was pretty smooth sailing.
In our final days of harvest we shelled in some deep mud, enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner (or three) and did a little science experiment. ENJOY!
