The boys spent the week hauling manure solids at the dairy using our big ole excavator. As Avery says in the video.. hauling poo in 2022 lol! Once the manure liquids have been separated (and also spread) they empty the pit completely by digging out the solids and spreading them. The manure gets applied to our fields to add nutrients back into the soil. They soil test our fields to know what fields may need more or less manure spread on it depending on soil health! Emily also continued to do more beef sales and shows off the goodies Didion Milling delivered to us - all of which our products are corn goes into - how cool!?
