It’s officially a bad day to be a T8… and honestly, a bad day to be us.

On our final corn silage chopping job of the season, we had a long haul across the county to get feed back to the bunker. Unfortunately, one of our New Holland T8 tractors and Meyer forage boxes caught fire and burned completely to the ground.

Thankfully, no one was hurt - equipment can be replaced, people can’t. Huge thanks to Blystone’s Towing & Repair for helping us get everything cleaned up and to the Plain Fire Department for getting the fire under control.

After that, Greggie had to go “put out more fires” (thankfully just the figurative kind) to wrap up a long day on the farm.
