It’s a beautiful day to be combining soybeans — and today’s field might just be our best yet! While Avery starts out in the trusty grain cart (his soybean head is still out of commission), we make a big discovery in the field... Emily’s drilled soybeans are out-yielding our planted soybeans by 10–15 bushels per acre, which means an extra $109–$164 per acre in value.
Later, Avery’s new draper head finally shows up, and the crew goes into full-blown logistics mode — moving two combines, two soybean heads, and one grain cart between a whole bunch of little fields. Oh, and when one of our semis hauling soybeans gets stuck, we save the day using our tractor and grain cart combo!
