It’s a busy few days here on the farm! We’re tackling our one and only custom combining job of the year for a neighboring farmer we work with often, and we’re hauling big loads only - but not too big, thanks to our Blue Ink Tech Air Scale, which helps us know exactly what our trucks weigh before we even leave the field.

Back at home, Emily’s in the calf barn wrangling some wild calves, and then she heads out on a rainy day to haul an animal for our direct-to-consumer beef business to the processor. Of course, she can’t make a trip without a few parts store stops along the way!

Once the rain clears, it’s back to the fields - Avery and Mason fire up the combines again, but the soybeans keep playing games with them. The sun comes out, then disappears, and the beans go from tough… to ready… to tough again. Just another day farming.
