We’re officially into our third crop of hay and this video walks you through everything it takes to get a custom chopping job done.

It all starts 28 days ahead of time with a perfectly timed application of dry fertilizer, delivered right to the field by our local @chsincorporated cooperative. The right fertilizer plan helps us replace the nutrients that leave the field with each cutting, so we can grow a thick, healthy crop of hay every time.

Then, when it’s time to mow, merge, chop and haul, Cenex fuel (also through CHS) powers all of our equipment - from the choppers to the collector tractors, and everything in between.
