In today's video we start the muck spreading on the farm, by taking the New Holland T7.245 up to the letterbox field. We then fuel up the Manitou forklift on the farm and take it up to load up the Agri Hire 18 Tonne muck spreader. We then carry out some spreading and after a period of time adjust the speed of the chain on the spreader so that the muck is slowly released over the field. The muck is an important part of the farms cropping rotation, as the farm has light and sandy soil which is hungry for organic matter and nitrogen. Farmyard manure also helps to build and improve soil structure. Enjoy todays video!
