In today's episode of Olly's Farm, Paul Stent arrives, to harvest the sugar beet, with not one but two brand new sugar beet harvesters! Meanwhile, back in the farmyard we change the livestock container to a bale trailer! The sugar beet yield was a little below average, this was due to the dry weather in June, which caused the sugar beet to wilt, this has consequently led to a reduced yield. However on a bad year, usually the overall price of sugar beet per tonne should increase due to the lower amount available on the market, so its fingers crossed to see how profitable this years crop of sugar beet has been, enjoy the video!
