In today's video, we look at the job done on the vicarage field. The cultivator was set up with the discs and packer. This has broken down the soil structure, with the soil structure broken, this has led to soil erosion. On a light sandy farm such as this one, the soil needs to be left in a clumpy state over winter. This is so that when the rain hits the soil it will drain through the soil. Rather than causing run off, which is why we're seeing parts of the field wash away, so to prevent this an action plan needs to come into play. Enjoy today's video!
