Spring work continues to gather pace as drilling progresses across the farm.

We take a closer look at how the Horsch Avatar is performing in the oats, comparing drill types and reviewing how establishment is progressing so far this season. Wheat crops are pushing on well, and we discuss how conditions are shaping up as we move further into the spring workload.

Alongside drilling updates, a new Hilux farm vehicle arrives, we continue preparing the yard for new fertiliser tanks, and take care of the day-to-day jobs that keep the operation running smoothly — including waste handling, yard improvements and getting ready for larger sprayer operations.

With 48 metre sprayers, ongoing yard development and crops starting to establish, there’s plenty happening as the season begins to take shape.
