Winter on the farm is all about preparation, repairs and getting ahead for the season to come. In this episode, we take you behind the scenes at P.X. Farms as we work through a long list of winter jobs that keep the business moving.

We start by expanding our oil storage and heading into the workshop, where winter maintenance is in full swing. After a Toyota Hilux crash, the repair process begins, from assessing the damage to ordering parts and planning the rebuild. Alongside this, stock organisation continues as we prepare for a busy year ahead.

In the workshop, we’re building new subsoiler legs, reconditioning crawler tracks, and fitting security tags to our new sprayers. With machinery investment higher than ever, protecting assets is crucial, so we also show how Rodent Shield is helping protect our combines through the winter months.

Away from the yard, we push on with boardroom renovations, office upgrades for our tenants, and the wider improvements needed to support a growing farming business.
