This week we celebrate a big one, James' 50th birthday, with a party that will take some beating. We open the doors on the shed for the first time to see it transformed, with the combines lined up as the centrepiece, a disco ball overhead and 450 friends ready to dance. There is food cooked over the fire pits, two bands, and the now famous tale of just how many bags of oak it really takes to cook for a crowd that size.

Once the celebrations are behind us, it is back to business. We see the Trailer of Dreams in one piece after a muddy but brilliant Cereals, show you the new offices to let at the Irwin Centre, and float an idea we would love your thoughts on, ticketed harvest experiences out in the field.

With the party cleared away, attention turns firmly to harvest. We get the combines fuelled and ready, welcome the harvest team back for the season, talk protein results and T3 spraying, and ask the big question, just how soon will we be cutting?
